The Black Mountain Festival, July 5th

Well, it has been some time since I posted a proper article on here (one will be posted soon, I promise) but first of all I must share with you news on the exciting upcoming CALCH event to be held this Saturday July 5th.

The upcoming Black Mountain Festival will be a celebration of all things lime from soap making, leather work and stone carving through art and sculpture to music by Julie Murphy and Ceri Rhys Matthews (of Fernhill). Tours and treasure hunts will be happening throughout the day with workshops and activities for all ages. Trips to the local excavation are also planned with a shuttlebus heading down the road regularly.

So make sure you come along to experience the industrial aspect of the Brecon Beacons National Park and take in the spectacular scenery. Make sure you bring a picnic and picnic blanket (or foldable chair) and come along to experience CALCH.
