To Liverpool!

Tomorrow I will be embarking on a six and a half hour train journey to Liverpool! I’m heading up north (ish) to attend the TAG (Theoretical Archaeology Group) 2012 (http://www.liv.ac.uk/sace/livetag/index.htm) conference. This year’s event will be investigating ‘Live Archaeology’; how do we present archaeology to the public? To what extent does archaeology utilise the media? What is the importance of community archaeology? Hopefully these questions and more will be answered by the end of the conference on Wednesday!

I am planning to publish some posts about the sessions I attend in order to give an insight into the world of archaeological conference!
